The boy from Rapti Nagar disappeared around 1:40 pm after school hours. His mother spent hours searching the area with police teams before receiving a call from an unknown number around 7:30 pm. The child walked to Gorakhpur railway station and boarded the Amrit Bharat Express bound for Chhapra around 4:30 pm, according to SP City Nimish Patil. The child was reunited with his mother around 10 pm.
