The Mukhyamantri Mandi Sthal/Up-Mandi Sthal Agnikand Durghatna Sahayata Yojana is designed to provide financial relief to licensed traders and arhatiyas.
Under the scheme, financial assistance is provided against the actual loss suffered, subject to a maximum limit of Rs 2 lakh. (Actual assessed loss, or Rs2 lakh, whichever is lower). The scheme provides up to Rs 2 lakh financial assistance to eligible licensed mandi traders and arhtiyas for actual losses caused by fire or lightning within allotted mandi/sub-mandi premises. Because of fire-related accidents or lightning (natural electricity) incidents occurring within the mandi or sub-mandi premises, the scheme provides support when traders or arhtiyas suffer losses. The assistance is available to licensed traders and arhtiyas who have been allotted a shop or designated place by the Mandi Samiti and who suffer damage due to: Fire accidents (Agnikand) Lightning or natural electricity-related incidents What assistance is provided?
