Similar facilities are also expected to be available at stations such as Subedarganj and Prayagraj Chheoki. The facilities, to be developed through an e-auction process with a proposed five-year contract period, will include AC waiting halls-cum-lounges, retiring rooms and affordable dormitories for passengers. The move is expected to benefit passengers arriving late at night, those waiting for connecting trains and families travelling with children or senior citizens by providing accommodation within station premises at affordable rates.
