Senior cops drafting security blueprint for Bhakti Mandir, Mangarh (Pratapgarh).
Prayagraj: Anticipating that around 5 lakh devotees will be visiting Bhakti Mandir, Jagatguru Kripalu Dham complex , Mangarh on the occasion of Janmasthami festival in Pratapgarh district , senior police authorities on Wednesday chalked out security blueprint dividing the entire area into one super zone, three zones and 13 sectors. Claiming that the volume of devotees, would be highest between 6 pm to 10 pm on the Krishna Janmasthami day, over 1,100 policemen including four Deputy SPs, 15 station house officers , 163 sub inspectors have been assigned duties. Over 20 parking slots would be made to accomodate vehicles. The temple management committee will also distribute over 5 lakh mobile pouches among the devotees to keep their phones safe.
During the inspection, the officials reviewed the security arrangements, movement of devotees plan, crowd control measures, traffic management, and parking facilities within the temple complex and surrounding areas. Plans are afoot to set up a temporary police station and police outpost on the temple complex in view of the festival. Officials inspected traffic diversion plans, designated vehicle parking sites, and entry/exit routes, and issued necessary directives to the concerned officers. Instructions were also issued to ensure the smooth movement of devotees, robust security arrangements, the deployment of adequate police personnel to handle any emergencies, and the maintenance of vigilance and effective surveillance. Additional women policemen would be deployed at the site. A network of CCTV sets, drones, barricading and additional mobile police pickets would enhence the security.
A joint team of police and administrtaive officials including IG (Prayagraj Range) Ajay Kumar Mishra, accompanied by SP (Pratapgarh) Deepak Bhukar and District Magistrate (Pratapgarh) Abhishek Pandey inspected the Jagadguru Kripalu Dham temple complex on Monday night and chalked out security plan.
