Sharing details of the action, North Eastern Railway (NER) Varanasi division chief publicity inspector Himanshu Rao said DRM Ashish Jain and chief security commissioner Pankaj Chugh took serious note of the video showing stones being thrown at the moving MEMU train. Officials said further aspects of the incident were being examined. They directed the formation of a joint team to identify those involved and initiate legal action. RPF and GRP personnel examined the video footage and conducted raids at different locations. During the operation, Krishna Kumar, Abhishek Prajapati, Adarsh Prajapati and Aditya Gupta were arrested. All the accused are residents of Aurai police station area in Bhadohi district. Railway authorities urged people living near railway tracks to refrain from such dangerous acts and cooperate with the authorities in ensuring the safety of passengers and railway operations.
