The UP Board is likely to release the list of examination centres: The wider industry impact

The emergence of CCTV footage has added a fresh dimension to the case

Prayagraj: The UP Board is likely to release the list of examination centres for the 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations on Oct 24, instead of the earlier scheduled date of Oct 22. The final list, after disposal of objections, is expected to be released on Nov 27.

Objections against schools selected or not selected as examination centres will be accepted online through the UP Board portal, upmsp.edu.in, from Oct 28. The list of examination centres approved by the district-level committee, along with student allocation, is scheduled to be uploaded on the Board website on Nov 16. Students, parents and schools can raise further objections regarding issues such as excessive distance or allocation of candidates beyond a centre’s capacity until Nov 21. The UP Board’s 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations will be conducted from Feb 5 to 23.

After the provisional centre list is published, details of schools facing debarment or recognition-withdrawal proceedings and other ineligible institutions will be made available on the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) portal, according to UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh. The objections will be examined and disposed of by principals or school managers. District-level committees will forward recommendations found justified to the Board online.
