The govt has approved 32,497 additional posts and reported expansion of policing infrastructure, including 134 district police stations, seven women police stations and 95 police outposts. Four water police outposts have been established in Ayodhya, Mirzapur, Chandauli and Siddharthnagar, while 78 Women Police Outpost Counselling Centres have been set up across all 75 districts. Specialised units include 73 cybercrime police stations, 40 anti-human trafficking police stations, four Economic Offences Wing police stations, six ATS police stations and 10 Vigilance Establishment police stations.
