Priya, a resident of Samardhira Chauraha under Purandarpur police station, is married to Manish Kumar Mishra, a resident of Koiladad under Brijmanganj police station, according to the complaint. The woman, identified as Priya Tripathi, has submitted a complaint to Kotwali police seeking registration of an FIR against her husband, Manish Kumar Mishra, and two others, Prince Mishra and Satish Mishra. She also provided police with a video clip purportedly showing the incident. Hearing the commotion, police personnel deployed on the court premises reached the spot and intervened, bringing the confrontation to an end.

Priya alleged that at around 2pm, she left the courtroom with her father and sister, Priyanka, and reached the hall on the ground floor of the court building.
