A 1,500-gallon aquarium. It is the under-construction Miami mansion that Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, bought for $170 million. The purchase, completed in March 2026, set a record for the most expensive residential sale in Miami-Dade County, according to the Miami Herald. The mansion was commissioned by cosmetic surgeon Dr Aaron Rollins and his wife, real-estate agent Marine Rollins, who bought the roughly 1.84-acre waterfront lot for about $30 million in 2020. The original plans described a limestone residence of roughly 28,000–30,000 square feet, with nine bedrooms and extensive indoor and outdoor spaces. There is also a 1,500-gallon aquarium, along with a gym, hair salon, massage room and entertainment spaces. Outside, the plans include a swimming pool, garden, private dock and about 200 feet of waterfront access. The mansion had been listed for $200 million in late 2025 while construction was still underway. Zuckerberg and Chan ultimately bought it for $170 million, according to Miami Herald and Realtor.com. In August 2026, Reuters reported that Zuckerberg and Chan had also purchased Strancally Castle, a nearly 200-year-old Gothic estate in Ireland overlooking the River Blackwater. The estate reportedly has 11 bedrooms and includes an indoor swimming pool following renovations by its previous owners. The Irish Times, which first reported the purchase, estimated the property might be worth between €20 million and €30 million.
