Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has bought a land parcel of 3.86 acres worth roughly Rs 70 crore in Lonavala. As per reports, Sachin Tendulkar acquired a 3.86-acre stretch of land in Lonavala for a total consideration of around Rs 70 crore. The deal was formalised through three separate conveyance deeds, all registered on September 4, 2026. Together, these deeds cover multiple land parcels along with an existing built-up structure of around 2,100 sq ft. The land is spread across the Maval Taluka region in Lonavala, and according to Zapkey, the combined transacted area comes to nearly 15,601.78 sq m ot t 1.68 lakh sq ft. The Rs 70 crore does not just account for one clean, single piece of land. The registration documents show Tendulkar paid approximately Rs 63.69 crore for the largest parcel, spanning 3.09 acres. A second transaction accounted for Rs 4.56 crore, and a third, smaller one came in at Rs 1.75 crore. For the largest 3.09-acre parcel, he holds 100% ownership outright. But for the other two properties, he only picked up a 50% undivided share, meaning he co-owns those portions rather than holding them entirely on his own. On the cost side, the transaction attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs 4.20 crore, along with a registration fee of Rs 90,000. Calculating across all three deals, data puts the blended effective rate at approximately Rs 4,168 per sq ft.
But when we look beyond that figure, the deal is less straightforward than a single purchase. It includes three separate transactions, combined, involving different ownership shares and different sellers. So, what does Tendulkar actually own in the scenic corner of Maharashtra? It is actually divided across three deals of very different sizes. Ownership isn’t uniform either, and this is the detail that changes what Tendulkar “actually owns. All three properties were purchased from Nandan Dhananjay Mehta and Vivaswat Dhananjay Mehta.
