India, November 6, 2026: Punjabi pop star Guru Randhawa is set to take the global stage on November 7, becoming the first India-born artist to perform at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), one of the world’s biggest electronic dance music festivals. The performance will also mark his debut at an international music festival.
Speaking about the performance, Guru Randhawa said, “Representing India and our sound on the EDC mainstage is a massive honour. Steve Aoki and I have built something special with the ‘Sirra’ remix that completely fuses two very distinct worlds. Before our massive homecoming stadium show hits New Delhi, I can’t wait to hit the EDC mainstage and unleash that ‘Sirra’ energy! Steve Aoki added, “Electronic music is all about breaking boundaries and bridging cultures, so having Guru Randhawa join me on the EDC mainstage is incredible. I have some of my absolute fondest touring memories from India, and working on this ‘Sirra’ remix together has been an amazing experience. November 7th is going to be unforgettable.”
The track has garnered 356 million cumulative streams and 550 million YouTube views, while making its presence felt across streaming charts and social media platforms. The festival appearance will precede Randhawa’s return to the Indian concert circuit with ‘Sirra Era Live in Concert’, scheduled for December 12 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The stadium show will mark his return to live touring after a three-year break and celebrate his 13 years in the music industry.
Adding to the occasion, Randhawa will share the mainstage with two-time Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki for the world premiere of their collaborative remix of ‘Sirra’. The reworked version of the chart-topping track brings together Punjabi pop melodies and high-energy electronic dance music, marking a cross-genre collaboration aimed at international dance floors. The remix builds on the success of the original song, which featured on Randhawa’s album ‘Without Prejudice’. Randhawa’s EDC appearance adds another milestone to his growing list of international collaborations. Over the years, he has worked with global names across genres, including Pitbull on the Billboard-charting ‘Slowly Slowly’, Tito El Bambino on the Spanish-Punjabi track ‘Mueve La Cintura’, French Montana on ‘Vibe’, Jay Sean on ‘Surma Surma’, K-pop group LE SSERAFIM on ‘BOOMPALA’, The Chainsmokers on ‘Addicted’ and Rick Ross on ‘Rich Life’. The EDC set is expected to bring together Randhawa’s signature Punjabi pop sound and Aoki’s electronic music style, with the live debut of the remix serving as a preview of the singer’s upcoming homecoming concert. The official ‘Sirra’ remix by Steve Aoki, facilitated by Warner Music India, is now available across major streaming platforms. You use AI every day. Now get your AI Quotient.
