India produced a dominant all-round performance to thrash Pakistan by seven wickets in their Group A clash of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Shawaal Zulfiqar top-scored with 14, while Muneeba Ali made 13, but no other batter managed to offer sustained resistance. Shafali Verma also chipped in with a wicket as India’s spinners accounted for all 10 Pakistan wickets. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur held the chase together and finished unbeaten on 18 off 18 balls. She completed the victory in style, hitting a six as India reached 57/3 in 8.4 overs. The result extended India’s overall T20I head-to-head advantage over Pakistan to 15-3 and their Women’s Asia Cup record to 7-1.

Pakistan never found their footing after being asked to bat. India’s spin attack was relentless. Shree Charani and Prema Rawat claimed three wickets apiece, while Deepti Sharma picked up two.
