As per the post on HYPEX’s social media handles, the Fortnite x Hollow Knight collaboration is set to release on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The bundle includes: The Knight’s small, insect-like proportions in its native game make it a natural fit for this format rather than a traditional skin-sized crossover, according to the leak. As with any leaked information, this date comes from files found within the game rather than an official announcement, so it should be treated as likely but not guaranteed until Epic Games confirms it directly. Unlike most Fortnite collabs, which center on a full-sized playable Outfit, the Hollow Knight content is reportedly built around Fortnite’s Sidekick system . If real, the Hollow Knight collab would be one of the more surprising indie crossovers in Fortnite yet, bringing a beloved underground classic into the game via its newer Sidekick system, rather than a full skin.
A Hollow Knight collaboration is on the way, bringing the Knight, who is the mask-wearing protagonist of Team Cherry’s acclaimed Metroidvania, into the battle royale experience, according to prominent Fortnite dataminer HYPEX. Fortnite’s next crossover appears to be pulling from one of indie gaming’s most beloved franchises.
