Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 is winding down on the island, and Epic Games is already building enormous hype for what comes next. They have officially confirmed that Chapter 7 Season 4 is titled Override, and everything we have seen so far points to one of the most ambitious and collab-heavy seasons in the game’s history. Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override will release on Thursday, August 20, 2026. past seasons have typically gone live around 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET While the exact in-game launch time has not been announced yet. With there being no end-of-season live event, expect server downtime of around 4 to 6 hours on August 20, with the update expected to begin deploying at around 4 AM ET.
