This is going to be quite different in tone, gameplay and ambition from the original 2019 title. The Sinking City 2 is currently available for pre-orders, with the game launching on August 18, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. If you opt for the Premium Edition, you will receive 24-hour early access, meaning you can jump in one day early. The Standard Edition is priced at $49.99 and includes the base game and the Chthonic Arsenal. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $54.99 and adds the Arkham Field Kit on top of everything in the Standard Edition. The Premium Edition includes the base game, 24-hour early access, the Chthonic Arsenal, the Arkham Field Kit, and The Holloway Manor. The biggest shift from the original is how strongly The Sinking City 2 leans into survival horror. Built on Unreal Engine 5, The Sinking City 2 is set to be one of the most visually striking horror games of the year when it launches on August 18, 2026.

Look forward to loads of stuff including a new setting, a survival horror revamp and a very disturbing storyline set in the flooded streets of Arkham in the 1920s. The original game focused heavily on investigation and atmosphere. The sequel keeps that DNA, but puts much more pressure on danger, combat, and survival.
