Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Recent Performance
Giannis Antetokounmpo is available for the Milwaukee Bucks’ game against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, January 11, 2026. The Bucks come into the game after a 105-101 win over the Lakers, where Giannis closed strong late. Milwaukee Bucks are 17-21 and sit 11th in the Eastern Conference. Denver enters at 25-13, third in the West, but the situation is different. Denver Nuggets are missing key players and have gone 4-6 in their last 10 games. Against the Lakers, Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting. For the season, he is averaging 29.5 points and 10 rebounds. Tip-off is set for 8:00 PM ET.
Milwaukee has won five of its last seven games, and Giannis has played a central role since returning from earlier injury issues. He is not listed on the injury report and is expected to start at Ball Arena. With no health concerns attached to his status, Milwaukee will lean heavily on him as they try to build consistency during the middle of the season. The record is not where they want it, but the recent stretch has been better. The absence of Nikola Jokic changes how they defend and how they control the game. He also had six rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and two steals. He did not force shots and stayed involved on both ends. Sunday will be his eighth straight game since returning from a calf strain. His minutes and movement have looked steady, and there has been no sign of limitation. That puts pressure on players like Peyton Watson to handle Giannis near the rim. Milwaukee sees this as a chance to add another road win and keep pace in the playoff race. Denver is focused on getting through a difficult stretch short-handed. The matchup will largely follow Giannis’ lead.
