In the same interview as the 41 year old NBA icon was asked if more money could end up messing one’s life, LeBron James said, “It can if you’re not built for it, if you’re not ready to take on that challenge. Because i had my friends, i was ready. To this, the four time NBA champion responded as, “No, I don’t think so. I’ve set myself up for life and we learn more and more how to make sure we’re set for the rest of our lives. I never worry that everything could wash away now. With a multi million dollar business empire, an expensive salary from the league and expensive real estates across the nation, LeBron James has always been pretty smart and diligent with the money he has earned. They were my shelter; they made me stay humble. They were around to keep me levelheaded. The fame never got to me.”
The former Los Angeles Lakers’ star player LeBron James built the LeBron James’ Family foundation in 204 and the I PROMISE School in 2018. Ahead of the new season, as LeBron James prepares himself and spends time training for his first and seemingly last season with the Philadelphia 76ers, all eyes remain on the NBA icon.
