When their daughter Zhuri James was born on October 22, 2014, the couple kept her early childhood largely private. Savannah James explained the family’s decision during Vanity Fair’s September 13, 2022 profile of the James family. No one saw her until LeBron won his 2016 championship” On June 19, 2016, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors 93-89 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Cleveland completed a historic comeback from a 3-1 deficit and won the franchise’s first NBA championship. She was only 20 months old, and her appearance came during one of the happiest nights of LeBron’s career rather than through a carefully planned celebrity introduction.
Because of LeBron’s NBA career and her older brothers, Bronny James and Bryce James, it was a deliberate choice for their youngest child, who entered a family already surrounded by enormous attention. Because their father was LeBron James, savannah also explained that none of her children had been pushed toward basketball simply.
