Curry Reflects on Retirement and Future in NBA
In a recent interview with CNBC’s Alex Sherman, Stephen Curry addressed ongoing speculation about his retirement as he approaches his 40s. The Golden State Warriors star acknowledged, “You think about it every day… Nobody’s beating Father Time. I say that to say it informs how I work. It informs how I prepare, it informs how I kind of commit to the strategy of preparing myself and also enjoying the time that I have.”
Curry, a four-time NBA champion, emphasized his passion for the game, stating, “I know there are fewer days ahead than behind me and that’s okay. I still have a lot to accomplish out there on the court. And I still love to play the game. I still feel like I can play at a high level.”
Additionally, Curry noted the significant influence of his wife, Ayesha Curry, on his successful career in the league over the years.
