As per Philanthropy.org, the NFL quarterback’s foundation has awarded approximately $6.3 million across 35 grants to 23 recipients between 2020 and 2024. Rodgers discussed his charitable motivations in a June 2021 interview: “I’ve always had a heart for the homeless. Enloe Hospital Foundation received approx. $2 million through two grants in 2023 and 2024. North Valley Community Foundation received approx. $1.3 million through five grants between 2021 and 2022. As per Community Foundations, North Valley Community Foundation and Aaron Rodgers deployed $100,000 to help Thompson Fire evacuees. For instance, his foundation donated $200,000 to Young Life, which connects young people with mentors and faith-based youth programs; $25,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, which provides youth mentoring via supportive adult relationships; $25,000 to Give Merit INC, which helps students develop leadership skills and pursue educational opportunities; and $50,000 to The New York Jets Foundation INC, which supports supports young men and women in the tri-state area by promoting fitness and supporting youth football, particularly in disadvantaged communities. For instance, his foundation donated $25,000 to Paul’s Pantry, which distributes food to people facing hunger in Green Bay, Wisconsin; $25,000 to Interfaith Food Pantry, which provides food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity; and $25,000 to Nourish NJ, which works toward reducing hunger by providing food and related services in New Jersey. A $53,000 grant to The Salvation Army supports community assistance through food, shelter, and social services. Another $25,000 went to Homeless Solutions Inc., which helps people experiencing homelessness by providing housing, shelter, and support services. Rodgers’ foundation also donated $25,000 to Market Street Mission, which serves people experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction by providing shelter, meals, and recovery programs. The money was used to provide emergency shelter, gas cards, food, diapers, swamp coolers, and other necessities.
