ArieForce One, which closed at Fun Spot America Atlanta, will return at a new Six Flags location during the 2028 or 2029 season. Built by Rocky Mountain Construction, ArieForce One opened in 2023 and quickly attracted thrill-seekers with its intense layout, sharp turns and powerful airtime. Six Flags confirmed the acquisition on September 8, promising to preserve the attraction rather than let its story end with its original closure. Six Flags completed the sale of six US parks to EPR Properties in April 2026 and announced further planned divestments in March. In October 2025, he joined activist investor Jana Partners and other executives in an investment group with an economic interest of approximately 9% in the company. Six Flags later named him a brand ambassador in March 2026, giving him a prominent role in its marketing strategy.

Six Flags has also confirmed that the coaster will retain its original name. Six Flags is preparing to bring a fan-favourite roller coaster back to life, but the announcement comes at a challenging time for the amusement park giant. The move offers fresh excitement for coaster fans while raising questions about the company’s future plans. With Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce serving as a brand ambassador and investor, the relaunch also puts the spotlight on a business facing financial pressure, park sales and serious ride safety concerns. The decision gives the company a major attraction to build excitement around, although fans must wait to learn which park will receive it. The announcement comes as the company reshapes its park portfolio. The relocation could help strengthen another property, but its commercial impact will depend on the destination, construction costs and future visitor demand. Kelce’s connection to Six Flags extends beyond promotional appearances.

Six Flags reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $865 million, down 7% year over year, while attendance fell 7% to 13.1 million visits. Its net loss also widened to $203 million from $100 million a year earlier. However, the company’s recent challenges have raised concerns. Six Flags Magic Mountain permanently retired its X2 roller coaster in September after lawsuits alleged serious brain injuries among riders. The claims have drawn attention to ride safety, although allegations do not establish liability.
