He was inactive before the home opener against Detroit on September 17 after suffering a hip injury minutes before the game. A knee injury against New England in Week 4 then forced him to miss matchups against the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders. Buffalo now has another game approaching, with the Bills scheduled to face the Minnesota Vikings on November 9.

“I think a lot of them don’t know it, but man, some days I don’t be feeling too high, I come in that D-Line room, and you got guys like Zane Durant that just put a smile on my face,” Oliver, 28, told reporters. “As a teammate of his and as someone in this locker room, all we can do is love on him,” Allen said, according to an X post from journalist Andy Young. “Dion [Walker] and TJ [Sanders] and the different personalities in the D-Line room, they really lift my spirits when sometimes I’m not really all the way there. Oliver’s return against Baltimore came after an injury-disrupted stretch. For Oliver, however, the support he has described goes beyond what happens on Sundays. His teammates have continued to give him room to grieve while making sure he does not have to face every difficult day alone.
