Sources told the outlet that Russini was “absolutely” planning a comeback and had explored opportunities ranging from NFL insider roles to on-air commentary. Dianna Russini could soon be back in the NFL media spotlight. The former The Athletic insider has reportedly started telling people around the league that she plans to return to work next week. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel told the New York Post, “These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. Dianna Russini also told the Boston Globe that the photographs did not represent the larger group of six people who spent time together that day. Both denied any wrongdoing.
