Landry Kiffin, the 21-year-old daughter of LSU coach Lane Kiffin, has spoken out after vulgar banners appeared around Oxford, Mississippi, making inappropriate claims about her and a former Ole Miss player. Because they personally targeted her, she said she normally avoids responding to hateful comments around game days, but felt the banners went too far. OutKick reported that the claims are part of a rumor that has circulated in Oxford, but Landry has rejected them.
Landry, who is still an Ole Miss student, said she has never met the player mentioned in the claims. Weeks and Landry have been dating since last season, according to current reports. “I understand emotions are high this week, and people are upset, but I’m my own person,” Landry said. “People are saying really inappropriate things about me with somebody I genuinely have never met in my life, which makes it even more frustrating,” she said.
Landry Kiffin is Lane Kiffin’s oldest daughter and remains a student at Ole Miss, where her father coached before leaving for LSU. Her connection to both schools has put her in the middle of the attention surrounding Saturday’s game. Landry is also dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks. Weeks is now preparing to play for LSU when the Tigers travel to Oxford for the SEC matchup. They made inappropriate claims linking Landry to a former Ole Miss player. “I’ll never understand how someone can feel good about themselves putting such vulgar things about a girl on a giant banner hanging from their house. She also directly denied knowing the former player mentioned in the banners.
She addressed the issue on TikTok as her father prepares to return to Oxford for LSU’s game against Ole Miss on Saturday. Landry addressed the situation in a TikTok video on Wednesday night.
