D.J. Moore’s Injury Update
D.J. Moore is questionable to return to the game due to a shoulder injury and a stinger. Amazon Prime sideline reporter Charissa Thompson has reported that the Buffalo Bills are currently assessing both injuries. Moore has also been taken for X-rays to determine the extent of the damage.
D.J. Moore had started his Bills career with a big performance
Buffalo took a 27-7 lead into halftime, but the injury took some attention away from an impressive opening half at the team’s new stadium. Moore caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in Buffalo’s Week 1 win over the Houston Texans. There is no confirmed collarbone fracture or long-term diagnosis in the reports available so far.
The Bills were already in control of the game when Moore left. Moore did not record a catch before leaving the game. His first game with the Bills gave fans plenty of reason to be excited. Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Josh Palmer could see more opportunities if Moore has to miss time. Tight end Dalton Kincaid could also become a bigger part of the passing game. Currently, the Bills are waiting for more information from Moore’s medical tests. More testing should give Buffalo a clearer idea of how serious the injury is and whether Moore will be available for the team’s next game.
