In 2024, she was the reigning Women’s World Champion heading into the Crown Jewel title match against then-WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax. Liv Morgan had been the WWE Women’s World Champion after she won the title from Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42. Following that, Morgan squared off with Becky Lynch in a No.1 contender’s match on RAW a week before Money in the Bank 2026.
Therefore, she could claim her second title in the same city she first won it.
As announced by WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green will battle WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. This would mark the second time Morgan will square off for the title in her career. If Morgan topples Green in their match, she will become the first-ever two-time WWE Crown Jewel Champion. Morgan had defeated the Irresistible Force and became the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia itself. However, a few weeks ago, she dropped the title to La Primera in a title match taking place in Vaquer’s hometown of Santiago, Chile.
The match ended with Vaquer attacking both women and demanding a triple threat match for her title at Money in the Bank, which was made official. At the event, all three women produced a blockbuster match. However, in the final moments, Vaquer kicked Lynch off the apron who fell onto a table. This led Morgan to capitalize and deliver the Oblivion to pin Vaquer and win the Women’s World Championship for the fourth time in her career.
