Monday Night Raw landed in Mexico City for the first time in fifteen years, and Rey opened the show still wearing a neck brace and an Eddie Guerrero shirt, weeks removed from a brutal beatdown by Omos at AAA Triplemania 34. He then introduced Stephanie Vaquer, fresh off beating Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship in her home country of Chile, with Becky Lynch as guest referee.
Vaquer soaked in the reaction and said, “Bienvenidos a Monday Night Raw. Dominik Mysterio turned on his own father in the ugliest way possible, and he did it in front of a Mexico City crowd that had shown up to celebrate Rey Mysterio, not watch him get destroyed. Rey Mysterio greeted the crowd in Spanish, calling the night historic for himself, for AAA, and for Mexico. Dominik piled on, mocking his father’s injury as fake. Rey clapped back by airing footage of El Grande Americano winning the AAA Mega Championship the night before, and Dominik responded by demanding a tag match against his own dad. Raw GM Adam Pearce initially balked, citing Rey’s medical status, until Americano’s arrival forced his hand.

Vaquer eventually turned the tide, landing a dragon screw and the Devil’s Kiss on Morgan before setting up a double 619 on Morgan and Dominik together. The match swung both ways early. Americano bulldozed Dominik around the ring, and Vaquer traded near falls with Morgan, including a Three Amigos sequence from Morgan that ended with Vaquer firing back. Americano and Dominik traded finishers, with Americano surviving a diving blockbuster before Rey’s interference sent him crashing to the floor. Americano climbed the ropes for the finish, but JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez stormed in and blew the match up, handing Vaquer and Americano the win by disqualification. The real damage came after the bell. Dominik dragged his father into the ring by the neck brace and threw him around while McDonagh took out Americano and Morgan hit Vaquer with Ob-Liv-ion. Dominik finished it with a frog splash on Rey, leaving Judgment Day standing tall as the Mexico City crowd erupted in anger.
