Je’Von Evans told Penta he would become the youngest Money in the Bank winner, and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh cut in.
Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu opened the show without World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. The tag match started as a hallway argument. Evans fired back with a joke about Mysterio’s heart and McDonagh’s head. Penta then offered to team with Evans that night if The Judgment Day wanted another fight.
He admitted Bronson Reed’s return had shifted the mood around The Vision, then held up a Money in the Bank contract approved by Adam Pearce and signed by Triple H and himself. Reed came out alone, signed it and said he was there to dethrone The Ruler, not to compete.
The crowd chanted “Oba,” and The Ruler told them to settle down. Femi said he was dressed for business, not combat, though that could change. Once Reed left, Femi said, “Welcome back, Bronson Reed, and good luck. Backstage, Dragon Lee told Jackie Redmond he felt great while WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio praised his path, until Big Cass promised to stomp out his fire.
Lola Vice and Roxanne Perez started with side headlocks and arm drags under referee Jessika Carr. Perez took over outside the ring, driving Vice into the commentary table and steel steps before hitting a northern lights suplex on the floor. You’re gonna need it. In the ring, Lee opened with a dropkick and a tope con hilo, but Cass answered with a big boot and two chokeslams on the apron. Lee clawed back with corner dropkicks, a hurricanrana and a torpedo suicide dive. A roll-up stole him the win. Afterward, he hopped the barricade, sat in a fan’s lap and sipped a beer while Cass fumed.
