Amazon has launched two new personal AI devices – Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse, designed to turn conversations into summaries, reminders and to-do lists.
The company says the devices are built with privacy controls, including visible indicators when audio is being processed and controls to turn recording on or off. The new devices expand Amazon’s Bee AI lineup, with one wearable that can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing and another that attaches magnetically to a phone. Amazon has also added integrations with Alexa+ and Amazon.com, allowing users to access conversation summaries through voice commands and receive personalised shopping suggestions.
It attaches magnetically to the back of a phone and offers more than 21 days of battery life on a single charge, according to Amazon. Amazon Bee Frontier is a wearable AI device that can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing. It comes with a soft silicone wristband and is available in Lavender, Sage and Onyx colours. The device has an IP67 water-resistance rating, USB-C charging and a claimed battery life of up to seven days. It also features two microphones with noise filtering to capture relevant details in places such as restaurants and offices. Bee Eclipse, meanwhile, is a slim, lightweight device about the size of a credit card.
