Both cables support charging of up to 100W and data transfer of up to 480Mbps, the company said. Amkette says the aim is to cut down the number of cables users have to carry. Amkette has added two multifunction cables to its Mozen Flow Series of charging accessories: the Mozen Flow Ignite, which has a built-in lighter and torch, and the Mozen Flow Nomad, a wearable lanyard cable with three connector types. They are meant to work with compatible devices from brands such as Apple, Samsung and Google, as well as laptops from makers including Dell and HP.
The Ignite is a USB-C to USB-C cable priced at Rs 799.
It includes a certified E-Marker chip for power delivery and supports the PD, QC, SCP and AVS fast-charging protocols, according to Amkette. Its lighter module can be used for tasks such as lighting candles, while the torch is meant for power cuts, camping trips and other low-light situations. The cable has a braided build, a built-in wire organiser and a tangle-resistant design.
The Rs 799 price for the Ignite is a launch price, the company said. Both cables are on sale through Amkette’s official website and online marketplaces.
