Canon announced plans to more than double its consumer printing retail network to over 10,000 active retailers across 700 cities by the end of 2027, as the company looks to strengthen its presence in Tier II, III and IV markets amid rising demand for printing solutions.
The launch builds on Canon’s existing Canon Passport Program, which currently supports more than 5,000 active reseller partners through rewards and engagement initiatives. The company currently operates more than 400 active PIXMA Zones across India and plans to add over 500 PIXMA Zone Lite stores this year. In addition, Canon said its RetailChamp Initiative will be expanded from 400 to more than 1,000 retail sales personnel, while its Retail Display Incentive Program will continue to support over 1,000 channel partners to improve in-store visibility and customer experience.
Alongside the retail expansion, Canon unveiled BizBee, a new partner-enablement platform designed for system integrators, value-added resellers and other B2B partners. The platform will provide training, technical certifications, incentives, business resources and digital tools aimed at helping partners expand their capabilities and strengthen solution-led customer engagement. Canon also plans to strengthen in-store engagement as it expands its network.
