OpenAI releases GPT-6 Astra AI model: Price, availability and other things to know
OpenAI has released GPT-6 Astra, its latest artificial intelligence model, with a focus on computer use, software engineering, science, cybersecurity and professional work. GPT-6 Astra is rolling out first to a limited group of organisations and will become available to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users over the coming days. The company has also introduced GPT-6 Astra Pro for selected paid plans. Astra also scored 98% on FrontierMath Tier 4 and 99.9% on ARC-AGI-3, according to OpenAI.
The company says Astra is its most intelligent and aligned model so far. The company says Astra has already helped solve long-standing open problems in mathematics. It will also be offered through the OpenAI API, Microsoft Azure and AWS Bedrock.
GPT-6 Astra availability and price
GPT-6 Astra is initially being rolled out to a limited number of organisations.
OpenAI says it will become available to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users over the coming days. OpenAI also says eligible API customers can use Zero Data Retention. Astra will also be available through the OpenAI API, Microsoft Azure and AWS Bedrock. Enterprise administrators will be able to enable Astra for their workspaces, with access turned off by default at launch.
