Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan’s 10-year-old daughter Maxima is already exploring the world of technology, with a growing interest in building things using code.

Priscilla Chan recently revealed that her eldest daughter has started “vibe-coding”, a way of creating software using AI tools and natural language prompts. However, the young tech enthusiast has one restriction at home: her mother does not allow her to build projects that are open to the internet. This includes a dating site that Max wanted to create, which Chan firmly turned down. Max’s interest in technology is not entirely new. The Zuckerberg children have also explored tools and activities such as Replit, Google Docs, Kano, robots and 3D printing. The couple’s second daughter, August, has also shown an interest in coding and creative projects. She reportedly spends time working on Minecraft and Scratch projects. August also created a book titled The Mermaid Crystal, using Meta AI to help generate illustrations and a trailer for the project.

Mark Zuckerberg has previously spoken about teaching his daughters basic coding through Scratch, a platform that lets children create games, stories and animations using visual blocks.
