She was reportedly the recipient of Epstein’s final phone call from prison and was named in a will he signed just two days before his death in 2019. The recent spotlight on Shuliak intensified after federal court files linked Epstein to a $100,000 donation to secure her acceptance into Columbia’s dental programme in 2012. Shuliak first completed dental school in 2015 and continued her postgraduate training in advanced general dentistry at Columbia’s Morningside Heights campus.
