Kimberly Guilfoyle is back in the US after she was fired from her ambassadorship.
Guilfoyle, 57, returned to the US on October 30 after spending nearly three weeks at the official ambassadorial residence, Jefferson House, in Athens. The report said she is now staying with Villency, 51, with whom she shares a 20-year-old son, Ronan. The couple dated for approximately six years and became engaged in 2020 before separating in late 2024. She was also married to California Governor Gavin Newsom from 2001 to 2006.
She had been given three weeks to vacate the property following her removal from the position last month, according to a report by the Daily Mail. An insider told the Daily Mail that Villency’s decision to accommodate Guilfoyle was unsurprising given their family ties. “It’s not surprising that Eric would be there for Kim,” the source said. In an interview with Greek broadcaster ANTI last year, she described it as a “wonderful relationship” and said they shared 20 years of friendship. The Daily Mail report said Guilfoyle has scores to settle and the top name on her hit list has to be Eric Deters, who leaked her text asking for money in exchange for access. Guilfoyle was unhappy with how her departure was handled and believes she was not adequately supported by the president despite her years of work for his political movement, according to sources quoted by the Daily Mail.
“They share a son after all, so they’ve always been bonded by that. Guilfoyle’s return to Florida comes after a turbulent period in her personal and professional life. During Newsom’s first two years as San Francisco mayor, she served as the city’s first lady.
Guilfoyle has previously spoken positively about her relationship with Villency. She was previously engaged to Donald Trump Jr, the eldest son of President Donald Trump. Guilfoyle was earlier married to Villency, a businessman and interior designer.
