US President Donald Trump ‘s youngest son Barron Trump, 20, has been leading a largely reclusive life amid rising security concerns and threats against the Trump family, according to a report by The New York Post. In her documentary, she told Secret Service agents during discussions around Trump’s 2025 inauguration that she knew Barron would not want to go out and said she respected his decision. Barron was reportedly also deeply affected by the 2025 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, with whom he had become close.

Iranian hard-line media recently aired a video titled “Where to kill Barron Trump”, claiming to depict locations associated with the president’s son and offering a $10 million reward for his killing, according to reports. The US Secret Service has acknowledged awareness of the video and said it investigates anything that could be perceived as a threat against its protectees. The threat appears to be part of a broader campaign of Iranian media content targeting Trump and members of his family, according to a federal law enforcement source cited by CNN. He tends to move quickly into private areas when arriving at his parents’ residences and avoids spending time in public spaces, according to The Post. He was the one who informed his father about Kirk’s death, according to an account cited by The Post.

Barron has also faced threats himself. Previous threats have also been directed at first lady Melania Trump. Barron’s privacy has reportedly been a longstanding preference. Melania Trump has also acknowledged his preference for privacy.
