New Delhi: Delhi’s hot air balloon rides are scheduled to return from Nov 15, with the operator company planning to resume the recreational facility at Baansera. The service will be offered twice a day, subject to weather conditions, with fares reduced from Rs 2,400 to Rs 2,000 per person to attract more visitors.
Each ride will last seven to 12 minutes, taking visitors to heights of 100-150 feet. Only six balloon rides were conducted at Baansera in 2025 as multiple factors contributed to the limited operations, including scheduling conflicts with events, weather conditions and lower-than-expected footfall, according to sources. At Asita, only four rides were booked till Jan 2026.
