Students, parents, principals and school managers can raise objections or complaints against the proposed centres till Oct 28. Singh also directed the district inspectors of schools (DIOS) across the state to examine the objections received, dispose of them within the stipulated period and forward the revised list or report, along with the recommendation or approval of the district centre determination committee, to the Board online by Nov 6. The Board has already announced the 2027 examination schedule. The High School and Intermediate examinations will be held from Feb 5 to Feb 24, 2027, in two shifts. The morning shift will be from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

The list, prepared on the basis of infrastructure details verified and updated by tehsil-level committees, has been placed on UP Board website for examination and approval by the district centre determination committees headed by the respective district magistrates.

No objection will be accepted after the deadline, said Bhagwati Singh, UP Board secretary. However, such representations must be supported by valid reasons and evidence and submitted online through the UPMSP portal in the prescribed format.

Prayagraj : The UP Board uploaded the list of 7,526 examination centres proposed through its online software for the 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations, along with allocation of students to centres, paving the way for district-level scrutiny before the final list is notified. The proposed centres comprise 862 govt schools, 3,276 aided schools and 3,388 self-financed schools.

The centre allocation exercise is significant as the 2027 board examinations will involve more than 52 lakh students. 27,75,741 students have registered for the High School examination and 24,28,972 for Intermediate, taking the combined total to 52,04,713, according to final registration figures. The number is lower than the 53,37,432 registrations recorded for the 2026 examinations. The 2027 examinations will continue with CCTV-based surveillance and online monitoring through command and control mechanisms, as part of the Board’s efforts to ensure transparent and malpractice-free examinations, added Singh.
