The regulator said it would continue processing projects that meet its prescribed criteria ahead of Diwali, with the stated aim of improving transparency, protecting homebuyers and facilitating timely project completion.
Two projects in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and one in Daman were also approved. Marathwada’s eight projects comprised seven in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and one in Nanded. Developers are also required to seek deadline extensions when projects face delays. Without an approved extension, a project can be classified as lapsed, potentially affecting its progress.
