Prayagraj : Newly elected Samajwadi Party MLC from the Allahabad-Jhansi Graduate constituency, Mansingh Yadav, and SP state president Shyamlal Pal on Thursday met candidates and students who have been staging a sit-in protest near the Directorate of Education office for the past three days and extended support to their agitation.
“Every section of society, including the unemployed, farmers and youths, is suffering under this administration,” he alleged.
Mansingh Yadav said he visited the protest site immediately after receiving his election certificate. He said instead of celebrating his victory, he considered it more important to stand with the agitating students and share their struggles. I pledge to stand with them in their struggle and ensure they get justice,” he said. Referring to reports of divisions among the protesters, Pal alleged that the BJP followed a “divide and rule” policy and claimed that the party had become a problem rather than a solution to the country’s issues.
“Govt policies have made life increasingly difficult for common people.
