Ayesha Curry had a special message for Ryan Coogler during the Golden State Warriors’ latest home game. The filmmaker, known for directing Black Panther and Sinners, was back at Chase Center with his wife, Zinzi Coogler, for the Warriors’ matchup against the Miami Heat. Ayesha spotted the couple courtside and made sure to acknowledge their return with a warm Instagram Story. Her message was more than a routine celebrity greeting. It reflected the long-standing connection between the Cooglers, the Curry family and the Bay Area basketball community. The Cooglers’ visit coincided with a productive night for Golden State.
He scored 11 points and received a warm reception before tipoff. The night also brought an emotional reunion for Golden State, with former Warriors guard Klay Thompson returning to face his old team.
