Bengaluru: A 45-year-old businessman died and his three-year-old son sustained injuries when a rashly driven car rear-ended the motorbike they were riding pillion on at Devanahalli late Tuesday night. Police said the accident occurred around 9.15pm when the car (KA-51-MW-7530) rammed the bike at Baladimmanahalli Gate junction. The biker, Nagesh , told police they were riding back home when the accident took place. “We fell on the road and the car driver ran over Shivamurthy and fled,” Nagesh told police. The victim is M Shivamurthy from Varamallenahalli village, Chikkaballapur. Download the TOI App.
