Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has intensified its crackdown on unauthorised under-construction buildings across its three zones, with 17 structures demolished on Tuesday. Officials also served notices to 11 unauthorised constructions and identified 54 more through MyCURE, Prajavani petitions and field inspections. Under the latest directions, buildings on plots smaller than 75 sq yards and exceeding seven metres in height will face enforcement action. Buildings on plots larger than 75 sq yards constructed without building permission will also be identified for demolition, irrespective of their height.

Officials said the identification and enforcement drive would continue to ensure violations are detected at an early stage and action taken promptly. “We will continue to closely monitor enforcement activities across all three zones to strengthen compliance with building regulations and safeguard public safety,” a CMC official said.
