Sony’s Battle Yellow Wolverine PS5 lands September 15, with pre-orders from August 19. It’s digital-only, though.
The PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle costs $649.99 (£569.99 / €649.99 / ¥96,980) and includes a matching DualSense plus a code for the game. Pre-orders open August 19 at 10am local time on direct.playstation.com and select retailers. Everything ships September 15, the day Insomniac’s game launches. Spider-Man 2’s special edition console shipped in a disc variant, and Sony has said new PS5 games stop coming on discs from January 2028.
Insomniac has confirmed the game itself comes with a disc in the box. Sony ‘s Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 bundle arrives in Battle Yellow, with a set of claw marks torn clean through the shell. Those slashes are transparent, so you can see the machine’s insides through them. No disc version, no Pro bundle, and Sony knows how that looks right now The timing is awkward. Comments under the reveal trailer went where you’d expect, with one fan noting that Wolverine would have fought for physical media.
