PC requirements and launch date
PC players using Nvidia graphics cards are required to install graphics driver version 610.74 or newer before launching the beta. Gears of War: E-Day is scheduled to launch on October 6, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with day-one availability through Xbox Game Pass. Separately, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Veronica has crossed the two million wishlist milestone ahead of its release.
Upcoming Beta Testing Schedule for New Game
The early access beta for the upcoming game will take place from August 6 to August 10, exclusively for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, as well as players who have pre-ordered. Following this, a second beta weekend is scheduled from August 13 to August 17, which will be open to all players on supported platforms without the need for a pre-order. Both beta weekends will feature the same content, allowing players to experience the game ahead of its official release.
