The smartphone maker has confirmed that it will host the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, 2026 in London. The event will be streamed globally at 2 p.m. BST / 9 a.m. EDT / 6:30 p.m.
Themed “A New Shape Unfolds”, the showcase will highlight Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones and AI-powered innovations. Samsung is all set to launch its next generation of foldable smartphones. IST.
Samsung to launch new smartwatch and smart glasses at the event
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 at the its upcoming flagship event. Along with this, this year Samsung is also expected to launch a third foldable smartphone likely to be called Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Rumours also suggest that along with the next-generation foldable smartphones, Samsung is also said to unveil the all new Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 at the event.
As per rumours, this year the foldable smartphones are said to feature lighter designs, thinner hinges, and improved crease management, alongside AI-driven multitasking features that integrate seamlessly with Samsung’s Galaxy AI ecosystem. The smartphone is said to offer advanced display technology to minimize crease visibility, a triple rear camera setup, faster charging, and a more powerful processor. Along with this, the company is also tipped to showcase the much-awaited Android XR smart glasses, though these may be reserved for a later launch.
