Samsung India has unveiled Galaxy Forever, a new ownership program: The wider industry impact

Samsung India has unveiled Galaxy Forever, a new ownership program designed for customers purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 smartphones. This initiative offers a combination of 24 months of no-cost EMI (Equated Monthly Installments), Samsung Care+ protection, and a guaranteed buyback value of up to 55% of the device’s invoice price.

The Galaxy Forever program aims to provide an alternative to traditional smartphone ownership. While customers still have the option to buy devices outright, this program offers predictable upgrade paths, enhanced device protection, and greater long-term cost transparency.

The programme provides a defined pathway to upgrade or return devices, rather than relying solely on resale prices. Galaxy Forever is aimed at young customers who want to own premium foldables today while having greater certainty about future value when upgrading.

•Assured buyback value of up to 55%, available from the 10th month onwards, subject to programme terms.
