Daejon Labrayae Love is a 35 year old man who was living in California and used multiple online dating apps to allegedly scam dozens of women. The San Francisco 49ers have found themselves in major controversies just days ahead of the new season. Days after their owner, Jed York, landed in legal trouble, a man has been accused of scamming multiple women as he pretended to be on the San Francisco 49ers’ roster. As per reports, Daejon Labrayae Love travelled across western states like California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah and used various fake names, including Jon Love, Avril Lyto Love, and Jordan Love, to scam women.
Apart from Daejon Labrayae Love, his partner in this, 18 year old Taylor Jamie Chan has also been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Daejon Labrayae Love and Taylor Jamie Chan have been accused of scamming multiple women of over a whopping $1 million dollars.
The U.S, according to the Los Angeles Times. Attorney’s Office said, “The scheme relied on Love’s creation of fictitious personas and display of a lavish lifestyle which Love presented to victims both in person and on social media websites. A fan took to X and posted, “The 49ers should just shut the whole operation down for the season and come back next year when the smoke clears…” Another fan posted, “After looking at his IG, you gotta really have half a brain to even believe what he was posting. A third fan wrote, “Checked his IG and this ni**a carried the helmet like a purse in every photo and was posting “practice” videos with no teammates.
Daejon Labrayae Love allegedly made a number of social media posts where he pretended to be heading to the Super Bowl and even acted as if he was a San Francisco 49ers’ player. Both of them were arrested by the FBI on Monday after Taylor Jamie Chan flew from California to Boise, Idaho to meet Daejon Labrayae Love, who was there to allegedly meet new victims.
