Iranian Delegation Arrives Amid Heightened Security
The Iranian delegation, headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, arrived shortly after midnight. This visit was marked by unprecedented security measures, reflecting the sensitive nature of the diplomatic engagement.

The US team includes Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of President Donald Trump.
Earlier in the day, a US aircraft carrying its negotiation team landed in Islamabad, highlighting the seriousness of the engagement. The Iranian delegation departed their residence on Saturday morning for the prime minister’s office to begin formal discussions.
