New Delhi: A woman (53) died after she was hit by a dump truck in southeast Delhi’s Nehru Place Saturday.

The driver, identified as Sobaran (55), a resident of Faridabad , Haryana , was nabbed on the spot by the public and eyewitnesses, who later handed him over to the cops. The deceased, Rajwati, was a resident of the Hauz Rani area of south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. Cops arrived after a PCR call to Kalkaji police station. Rajwati had died on the spot. Doctors at AIIMS Trauma Centre also declared her brought dead.
